Everything went well in his surgery and once he was discharged a few hours later he was in good spirits and felt no pain. That we thought was the result of the anaesthesia he received. The next day he seemed to have no pain at all and his friends who came to visit him could not believe it. A major surgery and he felt no pain? He went back to work 2 days after his surgery– working from his home office. Throughout the 6 weeks that he had the cast he was pain free and that actually made his recovery so much easier. His biggest problem was that he had a cast and was not allowed to put any weight on the leg lol. His bone is fully healed, and he began physiotherapy after 6 weeks and he continues to be pain free and his muscles are responding very well.
